As a purpose-driven professional with a bachelor's degree in
Environmental Studies and software engineering training, I bring a
unique skill set to any project. With experience in customer service,
task management, and creative problem-solving, I have a proven track
record of success in various industries. In addition to co-founding
a sustainable jewelry brand and co-owning and managing an independent
magazine, I have strong communication skills and am proficient in
various technology tools. I am excited to join a forward-thinking
organization that is committed to creating meaningful experiences or
products in innovative ways.
I have diverse work experience including bartending, operating a
boutique, commercial fishing, and hosting kayak tours in Southeast
Alaska. I have managed a restaurant and created content for a hostel
in Nicaragua, edited and published my own magazine with international
contributors, developed a sustainable jewelry line, and worked in a
fish market. Once I even got paid to perform a beach fire show on NYE.
I have gained experience editing an independent magazine and working with small businesses, including my own, giving me the ability to create social media content, product descriptions, marketing materials, website copy, and effective outreach emails.
I have a strong foundation in technology thanks to my training in computer sciences that involved leading multiple projects. I believe that this technical background, combined with my ability to learn new skills quickly, makes me well-equipped to navigate the rapidly evolving world of digital marketing and business in general.
I have strong interpersonal skills developed through customer service and diverse team experience. This has made me highly adaptable and effective at communicating and collaborating with a variety of people. As a result, I excel in dynamic and complex work environments, consistently delivering strong results.
